Hi, I’m Taimana

Nutritionist • Quantum Mind-Body Therapist® • Solo Mum

I’ve been mothering alone since my daughter was six months old, and like many mums, I began this journey with a heart full of love and the very best intentions.

From the beginning, I chose connection.

I chose attachment parenting, responsiveness, gentleness, nourishment, and meeting every need my baby had. I wanted to break cycles and create a loving, conscious home where my daughter felt safe and held.

But somewhere along the way, I lost myself.

I thought “gentle parenting” meant giving everything to my child and giving nothing to myself. Everywhere I looked, the message was: put your child first, endlessly.

No one ever talked about the mother — her needs, her boundaries, her nervous system, or how unsustainable it is to pour from an empty cup, especially when you’re parenting alone.

For years, I lived entirely for my daughter.

And I didn’t even realise I was disappearing.

Then life took a turn.

I opened my own bakery, believing I could do it all because everyone else online seemed to. I worked sixteen-hour days, homeschooled, ran the house, kept up with meals, cared for our dog, and forced myself to keep going long after my body was begging me to stop.

My nervous system collapsed.

My health deteriorated.

And I closed the bakery because I simply couldn’t function anymore.

Recovery wasn’t quick.

I wasn’t cooking properly.

I wasn’t feeding us well.

I wasn’t living.

The joy was gone.

Each day felt like just enough to survive — never enough to actually live.

I felt disconnected from my daughter, trapped in guilt, unable to give her what she needed because I had nothing left inside me.

It was survival mode at its most painful.

And I thought something was deeply wrong with me.

But nothing was wrong with me.

I was burnt out.

Depleted.

Overloaded.

And trying to be three adults at once.

The turning point came when I realised:

I wasn’t just here to be a mum.

I was here to be a person too.

My needs mattered.

My boundaries mattered.

And taking care of myself wasn’t selfish — it was essential.

From that moment, everything changed.

I rebuilt myself piece by piece.

I healed nutritionally after discovering multiple deficiencies.

I learned nervous system regulation.

I created daily rhythms that supported me instead of drained me.

I protected my time.

I used QMBT techniques to shift my internal state.

And most importantly, I rebuilt the connection I’d lost with my daughter.

As I regulated, she regulated.

As I softened, our home softened.

As I became grounded and calm, she felt safe again.

Today, we navigate big emotions with ease.

We talk, repair, reconnect, and move through challenges as a team.

Parenting feels joyful again.

Our home feels peaceful.

And I finally have space to breathe, rest, and be the mother — and woman — I was meant to be.

And now, this is the work I help other solo mums do.

If you’re ready to feel calm, steady, nourished, and supported —

if you’re tired of surviving each day —

if you want your home to feel peaceful and your motherhood joyful —

I’d love to guide you.

You don’t have to lose years of your life to burnout like I did.

There is a way back to yourself.

And you can feel the shift sooner than you think.

Why I help other solo mums now…

After everything I went through, one thing became crystal clear:

No solo mum should have to hit rock bottom to find peace.

No mum should have to burn out, lose herself, or parent from survival mode just because she’s trying to do it all alone.

I spent years believing I had to be superhuman — the mother, the provider, the emotional anchor, the therapist, the entire village.
I thought if I just loved harder or tried more, things would get better.

But what actually changed everything wasn’t trying harder.
It was learning how to support myself.

It was regulation.
It was nourishment.
It was boundaries.
It was real, sustainable rhythms.
It was healing the parts of me that were parenting from fear and depletion.

And once I experienced that transformation, I knew I couldn’t keep it to myself.

Now I guide other solo mums through the same rebuild —
so you don’t have to fight through the exhaustion alone, or wait until your nervous system collapses like mine did.

You can feel calm.
You can enjoy your child again.
Your home can feel peaceful.
And you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.

This is the work I was meant to do —
and I’m honoured to walk this journey with you.

Today, our home feels completely different.

There’s a softness in the air now, a steadiness I never thought I’d feel again.
Our days have rhythm instead of chaos.
Our mornings are calmer, our evenings lighter, and the constant battles that used to exhaust me have almost disappeared.

I feel grounded in my body instead of constantly overwhelmed.
I have energy again, real energy, not the forced kind that comes from surviving.
I parent from calm authority instead of panic or burnout.

My daughter feels it too.

She’s more regulated.
She’s more connected.
She’s more confident.
And she opens up to me easily because she feels safe with me again.

We navigate big emotions as a team.
We repair quickly.
We reconnect deeply.
Our relationship feels strong, secure, and loving, not tense and stretched thin.

Motherhood finally feels joyful.
Our home finally feels peaceful.
And I finally feel like myself again, the woman and the mum I always hoped I could be and was born to be!
